McKinney High School received the “2012 ACT College Readiness Award” from the Texas ACT Council. Schools received this award based on their increasing number of students taking the ACT over the past five years and their growing level of college readiness. 170 high schools in Texas were honored for this superior level of accomplishment, which represents nine percent of all Texas high schools.
