The Lionettes volleyball team will take on J.J. Pearce tonight at Rowlett High School in their first playoff appearance in 17 years. The game starts at 6:30 p.m.
“We want to go out and prove to everyone that we can really compete in 5A,” sophomore Claire Embry said. “We have a lot of talented players and we’ve really come together as a team. It’s always easier to win with a bunch of supporters cheering us on, so come out cheer us on.
