In the district swim meet last weekend boys finished third out of ten teams, and the girls finished 6th out of ten.
Sammie Hashbarger broke her own school record in the 50 free with a 24.29, and she won the 50 free and 100 free to get awarded the Swimmer of the Meet for females.
Makenzie Grinder placed 10th in the 200 free.
Madeline Edwards was 3rd in diving and will continue to the regional meet.
Makenzie Grinder, Sarah Cooper, Madi Neal, and Sammie Hashbarger finished 5th in 400 free relay, and will continue to regional’s.
On the boys team Erik Gentzel, Harrison Westgarth, Collin Lightfoot, and Brandon Driggs finished 3rd in the 200 Medley relay.
Robert Swan finished second in the 200 free and 2nd in the 500 free.
Harrison westgarth finished fifth in 200 Individual Medley.
Ryan Joseph finished fourth in 50 free, and 5th in 100 free.
Sebastian Hardy was 5th in diving.
Broc Pitcher was 6th in diving.
Matthew Reynolds was 2nd in 100 butterfly.
Brandon Driggs was 4th in 100 butterfly.
Collin Lightfoot, Brandon Driggs, Shaeson Bringhurst, and Ryan Joseph finished third in 200 free relay.
Erik Gentzel was 6th in 100 back.
Harrison Westgarth was 5th in 100 breast.
Brandon Driggs, Ryan Joseph, Robert Swan, and Collin Lightfoot were 2nd in the 400 free relay.
Other swimmers at the meet who made their best times were Steven Prinslow, Skyler Sabetpour, Kailee Perez, Emily Neerings, Chelsea Bishop, Hannah Fisher, Alina Hail, Haley Kinney, Jessie Kutschke, Jacqueline Morgani, Josh Carpenter, Patrick Doran, Austin McCown, Anferny Moore, Alex Richards, and Preston Yates.
Times for the events will not be released until everyone else in the region competes in their regional tournament this weekend.
