For “Beat the Drum” students and staff hit a drum for 24 hours in preparation for the Crosstown Showdown against McKinney North.
Senior MHS1 producer Jacob Derryberry wrote a program on a TI-84 calculator that told his Canon T2i camera to shoot a photo of Beat the Drum every two seconds.
Derryberry filmed additional footage on a Canon 5D Mark II.
The Lions lost to North 34-24.
