The tackling twins

Byron and Myron. Myron and Byron. Their names alone are confusing, and it sure doesn’t help that they’re identical twins.
It’s pretty easy to get them mixed up, especially because they’re both defensive captains on the varsity football team.
“It feels good to have my twin brother with me,” senior, Byron Robinson, said. “Because we’re always together and around each other 24/7.”
Trying to tell them apart on the field is a challenge, because they picked their numbers right next to each other, with Myron being number 15 and Byron 16.
“Myron chose 15 and I didn’t really know what to pick,” Byron said. “He said that 16 was open, and he wanted me to pick 16 so we could be right next to each other. So I did.”
The twins have been playing sports with each other for most of their lives, which gives them an advantage on the field.
“We know how each other are going to play on the field,” Byron said. “Starting on both sides we know it’s going to be lockdown defense and if something bad happens we’ll get on to each other. It’s that chemistry that makes us a threat.”
Being brothers on the same team, they both push each other harder to do better.
“We know how each other is going to play on the field, starting on both sides we know its going to be lockdown defense and if something bad happens we’ll get on to each other. It’s that chemistry that makes us a threat.” Byron said.
Being twins and close to each other the two brother share a special bond on the field.
“Its like no other feeling playing with my brother,” Senior Myron Robinson said. “I know you have teammates but I have my twin out there with me and we know exactly where we’re going to be on the field, so just knowing that is a great feeling.”
So with the two playing cornerback on the opposite side of the field the question had to be asked. Who’s better?
“I wouldn’t say who’s better but we’re better at different things,” Myron said. “I’m better at tackling and he’s better at coverage but we always like to compare stats and see who causes more turnovers.”
