McKinney High School Principal, Shelly Spaulding was named McKinney ISD Asst. Superintendent of Communications in April 2023. After serving as Principal at MHS for a year and a half, Spaulding moves back to central office. During her time as Principal at MHS, Spaulding has developed our campus to be a place of excellence and joy and has earned our campus the designation of School Transforming Learning from N2 Learning. She has impacted the community here, from the students to the staff members. We were able to sit down with Spaulding to learn more about her new promotion and reflect on her legacy at MHS.
