Every year the McKinney Education Foundation awards grants to MISD Faculty and these grants go towards providing a better education environment for students and better resources for staff. We followed three MHS staff members who received grants. The following staff members received the following grants.

• Michael Sanders – Classroom Grant – $164 for 4 Extension Cords and 2 MAC Book Pro Chargers
• Dana Dougherty – Classroom Grant – $300 for Learning and Sensory Activities for Special Education
• Shelly Spaulding – Professional Development Grant – $6,381 to send staff to Solution Tree Professional Development course.
