The Lionettes volleyball dominated the Wylie Pirates beating them in three sets to 25 last Friday night. This Tuesday the ladies are on the road again playing against JJ Pearce tonight.
The Lions boys cross country team were champions in the Marcus 2 Invitational. Senior Robert Wood secured first place for the Lions with a time of 17:08. This Saturday the boys look to repeat their performance in the Colony at the Cougar Invite.
At Marcus 2 in Lewisville the girls cross country team had their best performance of the year. The Varsity team finished 6th out of 21 teams with strong showings from Meghan Shea, who finished second overall, Tori Newton, and Sarah Morris. The junior varsity placed 13th overall with over half of the girls running a seasonal best.
