Now accepting entries for MHS Film Festival

Submissions due by midnight on Nov. 14

All students are eligible to enter their short film into the MHS Film Festival. The final submission deadline is Nov. 14 with the film screening and presentation of awards at 6 p.m. on Nov. 17. Up to nine winners (three per category) will be selected as McKinney High School’s official submissions for the statewide Focus: UIL Young Filmmakers Festival.

Categories

Narrative (time limit 3 to 7 minutes)

Documentary (time limit 3 to 7 minutes)

Animation (30 seconds to 3 minutes)

Time limitations must include credits. All content submitted must be the original work of MHS students. No copyrighted music or other materials will be accepted. 

To submit your film, send an email with a YouTube or Vimeo link with your film to [email protected]. Include the names of your main producers (up to three) and the name of your English teacher.
